Hafeezah “Haffa” Abdullah (she/her) is a fundraiser, event producer, and strategist with more than a decade of experience advising nonprofits and political campaigns. She currently serves as the Chief Donor Relations Officer for SumOfUs, a global campaigning organization focused on corporate accountability. In this role, Hafeezah directs donor engagement and institutional advancement for a consumer watchdog group of 15 million people.
Throughout her career, she has been a bold advocate for progressive and social justice efforts, providing innovative leadership and strategy to address government transparency, tax reform, climate change, money in politics, net neutrality, and diversity in elected positions. Previously, Hafeezah has worked with the Democratic National Committee, Demand Progress, Breakthrough Institute, Sunlight Foundation, New Organizing Institute, and many others. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park and Justice Democrats Fellow.
Hafeezah is East Coast raised, but currently resides on the West Coast. When she’s not working, she is usually running, travelling, or laughing infectiously loud.
